Informative: When Should you Calibrate your Torque Tools?
Torque Tip Tuesday: Is your torque wrench calibration overdue?
12 months is a common calibration guideline - but it's ONLY a guideline.
Your actual calibration interval depends on how hard your tools are working:
-How often you're using them
-How intense that use is (high-torque, high-stress applications wear tools faster)
-Environmental conditions such as heat, cold, humidity, storage
-Any drops or over-torquing incidents
Relying on the calendar alone can leave you tightening with a tool that may have already drifted out of tolerance, which can be a risk to safety, quality and compliance.
Not sure when your calibration is due? Check the label on your product, or contact us and we can help you figure that out.

Why is torque calibration important?
The importance of calibration for torque measurement equipment can never be underestimated. Torque wrenches, transducers and data collectors are used across industries including automotive and aerospace, where product quality and end-user safety depend on tools delivering and measuring the correct torque, verified through regular testing.
Our equipment is used in critical assembly and quality control applications by manufacturers, both for testing and verifying the torque applied by assembly power and hand tools, and for measuring the actual torque applied to critical fasteners during and after the assembly process.
Regular calibration keeps torque equipment accurate and within its required tolerances, so it continually provides consistent, reliable results, helping to ensure safety, quality and precision in every torque measurement.
