Cleco: Torque Arms
Cleco Torque Arms absorb torque, support weight, and improve operator productivity. Cleco's line of high quality torque reaction-balance arms are engineered to deliver long service life using durable components, rugged design, and user friendly features. There are over 25 models available to choose from. Air cylinder models can support tools weighing up to 10 lbs. while models that utilize a spring can support loads weighing up to 5 lbs. Both types of arms can absorb torque reaction up to 10 ft. lbs. Cleco torque arms can be table or wall mounted and accept tool holders that make them compatible with most major brands of air tools.
Air Cylinder Torque Arms
Air cylinder style torque arms use regulated air pressure to control the float or "anti gravity" effect of the arm. Resistance is controlled by increasing or decreasing the pressure according to the weight of the tool suspended. Air cylinder torque arms can suspend a tool weighing up to 10 lbs.
Spring Torque Arms
Cleco spring tensioned torque arms use a large spring to counterbalance the weight of the tool suspended from the arm. Spring style torque arms can suspend a maximum of 5 lbs. and are not as adjustable as their air cylinder counterparts.
