This drill is variable-speed and has a two-speed gearbox, designed for high-torque driving (0-460 rpm) or high-speed drilling (0-1,800 rpm). With an upgraded, all-metal chuck, the drill has great bit hold and torque transfer. The GSB18V-490 features Bosch's Electronic Motor Protection, an LED for illumination and a belt clip.
