Bit Holders and Adaptors

Impaktor holder

Suitable for extra high torque e.g. from modern 18 volt impact screwdrivers with particularly high resilience. Reduces the risk of premature breakage of the holder or bit and increases the productivity when screwdriving with power tools.

Rapidaptor stainless steel

Manufactured out of stainless steel thus preventing the formation of unsightly extraneous rust when working with stainless steel. Additionally, it offers all the advantages of the Rapidaptor technology.

BiTorsion holder

Designed with a special BiTorsion zone. The energy from peak loads is diverted into the BiTorsion zone. Considerable reduction of the risk of breakage, much longer service life.

Rapidaptor holder

Rapid bit change without needing any additional tools. One-hand operation with a freely spinning sleeve for simplified guidance of the tool. Also available in a BiTorsion design.

Ring magnet Rapidaptor

Special design powerful ring magnet, for larger and heavier screws. Ideal for overhead work, too.

Holder with quick-release chuck

The magnetic design enables simplified positioning of the screw. The non-magnetic version prevents any unwanted attraction of metal filings.

Universal holder with retaining ring

Proven holder design, optimal fitting of the tool in the holder. Particularly robust for series applications.

Copper-beryllium universal holder with retaining ring

Very strong design thus minimizing wear and tear. Particularly suitable for screwdriving jobs with high torque or peak loads. Very high resistance to corrosion.

Universal holder with stainless steel sleeve

The retaining ring and the strong permanent magnet ensure a particularly secure fitting of the bit in the holder.

Impaktor Bits and Holders

Impaktor holder technology ensures an above-average service life even under extreme conditions thanks to a best-possible utilization of the material properties and optimally designed geometry (two coupled torsion zones that perform successively).

The Impaktor stainless steel holder with a retaining ring and magnet satisfies the extreme, dynamic requirements in that there are consciously no small mechanical component parts fitted as they would be more susceptible to failure. It focuses on the basic bit holding function and the cushioning of the extreme impulse peaks with its two different torsion zones. Mainly used in industrial screw assembly applications e.g. with screwdriving robots.

The Impaktor holder with ring magnet additionally holds longer and heavier screws absolutely securely. This enables a speedy and dependable positioning of the screw. It is also ideal for above-head work. Should the magnet function not be required in a particular situation e.g. when working with metal, it can be extracted from the screwdriving area and can thereby be “disabled”. Mainly used in manual power tool applications.

The combination of the double torsion zones in the Impaktor holder and the torsion zone in the Impaktor bit result in the so-called TriTorsion system.

Wera Impaktor bits and holders can also be used individually. However, the best results are achieved with the combination of the two tools that are optimally matched to one another.

Rapidaptor Bit Holders

Chuck-all

The Rapidaptor quick-release chucks hold both ¼" bits as per DIN ISO 1173- C 6,3 (Wera series 1) and E 6,3 (Wera series 4).

Single-hand

All functions of the quick-release chuck such as the inserting or releasing of bits can be done with just one hand. That is faster, more economic and ergonomic. There are no unnecessary maneuvers.

Rapid-in and self-lock

The bit can be pushed into the chuck without moving the sleeve. It automatically locks with a secure and wobble-free fit as soon as the bit is applied to the screw.

BiTorsion Rapidaptor

BiTorsion holders from Wera have a torsion spring design that absorbs smaller peak loads during screwdriving. The combined use with BiTorsion bits with their torsion zone distinctly extends the service life of the tool. Conveniently, BiTorsion holders from Wera can also be used with conventional bits.

Rapidaptor holder out of stainless steel

Manufactured out of stainless steel thus preventing the formation of unsightly extraneous rust when working with stainless steel. Additionally, it offers all the advantages of the Rapidaptor technology.

Rapidaptor ring magnet

The floating, free-turning sleeve on the Rapidaptor with powerful ring magnet securely holds even large and heavy screws.

There is no need to hold the screw when applying the tool – something which can be dangerous and painful!

Bit holder with adjustable depth stop

The screw installation depth can be infinitely adjusted and allows the desired degree of countersinking of the screws.
