Panasonic: How to Reset Panasonic Mechanical Pulse Tools (Accupulse)
This is a short article about how to properly reset your Panasonic Mechanical Pulse Tool with just the Panasonic EYFA31 Remote Control. There is a way to do a deeper reset which requires the Panasonic Tool Manager Software, but this will reset your tool enough for you to start from scratch on whatever personal program you're choosing to run.
Step 1: Remove the battery from the tool.
Step 2: Attach the battery to the tool.
Step 3: Press lightbulb icon button and pull the trigger at the same time.
**If you mess up, remove that battery and try again.
Step 4: You'll know that you've successful made it into in configuration mode because the tool will make a beep noise and the lights on the display will be flashing.
Step 5: Once in configuration mode, point your Panasonic EYFA31 Remote Control at the tool from only a few inches away pointing at the lightbulb icon and press the "C" button on the bottom left of the remote.

Step 6: The display should now show a flashing "F" along with the battery indicator's top and bottom lights.
Step 7: Then press the blue button on the remote, located in the middle, directly underneath the minus button.
Step 8:Once this is complete, the tool will beep again to confirm that it has exited configuration mode and is ready for use. The display will also stop flashing and will only show the letter F and the battery charge level.
Note: The "F" being displayed indicates that the torque control function is off.
