Crane Electronics: WrenchStar Multi-e Torque Wrenches
The electrically safe, insulated WrenchStar Multi-e digital torque wrench has been developed by Crane Electronics, especially for new electric vehicle and electric battery production environments and applications. Meeting the growing global demand for insulated tooling, Crane has developed the new WSM-e, based on the established WrenchStar Multi digital torque wrench. Already approved for use by a wide range of leading manufacturers around the world, you can now have all the benefits of the WrenchStar Multi whilst complying with EV production quality standards. The insulated wrench complies with the International standard, IEC 60900:2018*, applicable to insulated hand tools used for working with, or close to, live parts at nominal voltages up to 1000V AC and 1500V DC. This important certification provides welcome reassurance and safety when used for electric vehicle and battery assembly applications, where operator safety is paramount. The WrenchStar Multi-e also includes an inductive battery charging system that complies to WPC/Qi standards.
