Bosch Rexroth: Aluminum Extrusion Stands for Cobot Robots
Aluminum extrusion can be used for a lot of different applications. Something we have used it for in the past is as a platform to run a cobot robotic arm. A cobot arm is a collaborative robot arm that is designed to work safely along side a human in a shared workspace with the need for safety cages for the robot. These can be stationary or can move around if you have a constantly changing production floor. These cobot arms need a little corner to sit in and will do their job perfectly.
This is one of the cobot arm work stations that we had built which includes the cobot arm, the power station and brains for the cobot arm, an industrial metal counter top as well as a tool controller (black and red box sticking off the side of the table) to control the screwdriver that this cobot arm is using to complete it's assigned tasks.
