Pick-to-Light
Pick-to-light devices and systems help industrial automation manufacturers reduce the risk of error in the assembly process, boosting product quality and reducing cost.
Capacitive Pick-to-Light Touch Button Selection
Capacitive pick-to-light touch buttons have an ergonomic design that only requires contact with the surface of the button to confirm picks, no physical force required. This helps prevent stress on hands and wrists. Capacitive pick-to-light touch buttons operate with the touch of a finger, hand, or whole palm, and with either bare or gloved hands.
Non-Contact Pick-to-Light Point and Array Selection
Non-contact pick-to-light points and arrays use a photoelectric sensor to automatically verify picks and picking sequences during normal pick motion. Optical touch buttons are zero force activated and require no physical pressure to operate for a more ergonomic solution. Furthermore, arrays enable a larger sensing area.
Pick-to-Light Push Button Selection
Pick-to-light devices operated by push buttons require physical force to confirm picks. Some users prefer the tactile confirmation that the button has been pushed, compared to relying exclusively on the visual confirmation from the indicator.
Pick-to-Light Systems
For a simplified setup, Banner's Pick-to-Light Solutions Kit comes with a pre-programmed DXM controller and HMI with touch screen for pick-to-light system setup and integration. Powered by PICK-IQ™, it is an easy-to-add solution to reduce errors, improve productivity, and ensure flexible pick functionality.
PICK-IQ
PICK-IQ™ is a purpose-built, Modbus-compatible serial bus protocol that uses a Common ID to reduce the typical latency that results from polling multiple devices.
